BlueCoat Systems is a company founded in 1996 that provides hardware, software and services in the areas of cybersecurity and network management. In 2016, it was acquired by Symantec and in 2019 Symantec’s Enterprise division was sold to Broadcom. With this acquisition, BlueCoat products became part of Broadcom’s cybersecurity portfolio.
